St. Bernard is a tightly-knit community with a unique culture, and while we’ve faced adversity – hurricanes, oil spills, tornadoes, coastal erosion, and more – we always pull together to persevere and come back stronger.

Our community resilience programs are designed to prepare for disasters, adapt to changes, support recovery, and ultimately, create a brighter future.

Our family foundation hosts and sponsors many events throughout the year, ranging from festivals to informational meetings. And it leverages its network and links people and organizations together to address some of the parish’s most pressing issues, like coastal protection and economic development.

During challenges, we activate special funds to help meet critical needs, such as our COVID-19 Grant Response Program and Hurricane Ida Recovery Grants.
