Meraux Fondation to Host Blues, Brews & BBQ on Oct. 1

The Blues, Brews & BBQ Festival is set to return this Saturday, October 1 from noon to 6 p.m. The free, family-friendly event features, of course, live local music, a variety of brews, and delicious BBQ served up by a bevy of local pitmasters.

Back by popular demand, the fest will include a harmonica workshop at 1 p.m., providing free harmonicas to the first 200 attendees.

Parking is free, and fest goers are encouraged to bring chairs. No outside food or drink allowed.

All proceeds will benefit the Community Center of St. Bernard, a local food bank.
